thanksgiving for hamster security

Thank you God for everything that sprouts and for things that are secure like our new hamster that Mommy thought she would get and we saw a big cat out there that somebody was holding in her arms like a big baby! It was black and big just like our cat Katie except without any white on it. A-a-a-a-a-a-MEN!

where we began

A few months after our First turned two, we started collecting some of the funny and interesting things he said and did into a tiny spiral-bound blank book. When we had filled the very last page, the First was six years old.

how this works

I am posting the entries in reverse order, so that the earliest posts will eventually appear at the top of this page, just as they appear in our book and as they happened in time. The title of the book was inspired by its very first entry, which will appear when I have finished all the posts.

welcome back again

We have read and taken pleasure from this little book many times, and here the pages will not be torn or lost, no matter how many times we return to enjoy them.
