Thank you God that I saw that black rat snake about up to here, and it climbed up a tree. And I got a magnifying glass at the museum for 99 cents which is almost 100 cents which equals one dollar. And God, thank you for our world and help all the bad people to be good, and if they don't want to you might have to kill them.

where we began
A few months after our First turned two, we started collecting some of the funny and interesting things he said and did into a tiny spiral-bound blank book. When we had filled the very last page, the First was six years old.
how this works
I am posting the entries in reverse order, so that the earliest posts will eventually appear at the top of this page, just as they appear in our book and as they happened in time. The title of the book was inspired by its very first entry, which will appear when I have finished all the posts.

We have read and taken pleasure from this little book many times, and here the pages will not be torn or lost, no matter how many times we return to enjoy them.
